Free Fryer Oil Disposal Program

Our program is designed to help restaurants save money on disposal fees, while also benefiting the environment and reducing the need for crude oils for fuel.

Qualifying restaurants will have their waste fryer oils removed free of charge.

Removal is based on a schedule that suits the needs of the restaurant's volume and change out schedule. Most of our current restaurants are on a 1 - 3 week service schedule.

We prefer to handle the oil in shorter intervals while the oil is fresher and less smelly .... this is an added benefit to the restaurant as well.

We respect the restaurant's needs - we always service the oil containers when the restaurant is closed.  We believe this is part of the restaurant business that the customer does not need to see.

We provide the collection containers and  exchange them based on the agreed upon schedule based on each restaurant's needs.  We do not empty the containers on site ...  this avoids the messy spills that can happen when dumping or pumping containers on site.

Exchanging the containers allows us to clean and care for the containers regularly - this keeps them in much better condition than those oil dumpsters that sit on your property for years with out being ever cleaned or serviced.

This is as simple as it gets ... the restaurant saves hundreds of dollars a year and we get the used oils we need to produce high grade bio-diesel. It is a "win - win" arrangement for everyone except your current waste oil disposal company.

To qualify for this program:

  • You need to be located within our service area which includes - Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Iowa City, Iowa and the immediate surrounding areas.  If you are not in our service area, feel free to contact us and we may be able to put you in touch with some one in your area to service your account.

  • The used fryer oil needs to be mostly vegetable oils with limited animal fats mixed in. We can accept some fats, but the vegetable oils are most useful to us, and easiest to process to fuel. As a rule - if your fresh fryer oil is liquid at room temperature, then it is suitable for our process of conversion to bio-diesel.

  • The used oil needs to be kept free of water. This only requires keeping the lids in place on the containers we supply,  to keep water out.
Restaurants that are placed in this program will be guaranteed continued removal of all used fryer oil as long as the terms of the program are being met.

Special start up gift-  Just for joining our free program you will receive a 3 Pack of sani-safe paring knives as a token of our appreciation.

Thank you, I look forward to serving you.
